New Spring/Summer Menus

Bring on the sunshine…. Bring on our new Spring/Summer menus!

Finally, the weather is warming up and spring is finally in bloom.  It’s the perfect time to take advantage of the abundance of fresh seasonal ingredients. Our head chef Marc and his team source these quality fresh ingredients from local farms and estates where possible, to created appetising and inspiring dishes to feature on our new menus.

Our new evening a la carte menu includes new starters such as Tempura Cod Cheeks with garden pea puree, endive and tartare sauce starter, and mouth-watering mains including Pan Roasted Pork Tenderloin glazed with honey and chilli, served with a beetroot and potato rosti, steamed pak choi, pickled fennel and burnt apple jus.

Our Lunchtime menu has new tasty dishes ranging from lighter bites and ciabatta sandwiches with daily changes fillings to more substantial main courses including our tasty Butcher’s Choice Sausages with buttered mash potatoes, broccoli florets, onion marmalade and red wine jus or why not try Chef’s new Croque Madame Bagel; a griddled bagel topped with Woburn honey cured ham, melted Cheddar cheese and fried free range egg, served with French fries and garden salad (with a vegetarian option available).

And don’t forget we still have our range of fresh fish and quality meats cooked to order on our griddle.

Finally, to round off your dinner choose from a delectable array of delicious desserts, like the exciting new The Black Horse ‘Snickers’, a chocolate and hazelnut brownie coated with a chocolate mirror glaze, served with peanut butter ice cream and peanut brittle – mmmmm…
