December Opening Hours & Menus
Over December we do things a little differently at The Black Horse so it’s worth checking the dates and details below if you’re looking to dine with us during this time.
Wednesday 1st – Friday 24th December 2021 (Excluding Sundays)
We run a special Christmas Menu (now available to view on our Menus page) which requires table booking and food choices in advance. For those of you who have not booked in advance or have booked within 48 hours of when you wish to dine, our December Menu will be available for you to order from on the day.
Both these menus are available:
Wednesday 1st December – Saturday 4th December
Wednesday 8th December – Saturday 11th December
Wednesday 15th – Friday 24th December (including Monday 20th & Tuesday 21st December)
Monday 27th December Onwards
Our delicious December Menu is available from
Monday 27th December to Friday 31st December*
You do not need to order in advance, just do what you do the rest of the year; book a table (or drop in if you’re feeling spontaneous!), turn up on the day, peruse the menu at your leisure – preferable with a drink in your hand – and order what ever takes your fancy!
Booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
*December Menu available lunchtime only on Friday 31st December as the evening is our special New Year’s Eve event with an exclusive menu. Booking and advanced menu choices required for this event. Please visit our events page for more details.
Sundays In December
Our regular Sunday Menu will be available every Sunday throughout December (excluding Boxing Day)
Whilst booking is not required, it is still highly recommended as our tasty traditional roast dinners are hugely popular and we tend to get booked up in advance!
Christmas Closures
We like to let our wonderful Team enjoy the festive days at home with their loved ones as a thank you for all their hard work throughout the year, therefore The Black Horse is closed
Christmas Day – Saturday 25th December
Boxing Day – Sunday 26th December
New Year’s Day – Saturday 1st January
and Sunday 2nd January
