There’s no denying it – the weather has turned, the leaves on the trees are changing colour and we’re swapping our sandals for socks and shoes – summer is officially over!
But with the change in season comes a new abundance of fresh produce, which our talented Chefs take full advantage of when creating dishes for our new Autumn Menu.
So step in from the cold and warm yourself at The Black Horse with one our delicious new dishes, such as; Miso Glazed Woodview Farm Pork Tenderloin with colcannon potato croquette, thyme roasted parsnips, carrot and cardamom puree, apple and maple jus, or Grilled Cajun Spiced Salmon Fillet with sweetcorn, squash, red pepper and black bean warm salad, lime, chilli and mixed herb dressing.
If you’re hungry or wish to make a real meal of it with 2 or 3 courses, our starters offer enticing options like Pulled Beef Brisket Croquette smoked cheddar fondue and bourbon BBQ sauce, or Sticky Black Pepper Tofu with ginger and sesame seeds, tamarind dipping sauce, beansprouts, spring onion and chilli salad. If however you just fancy something light, these starters are also available as a ‘Lighter Main’ size at an additional price or make delightful light bites when paired with one of our side dishes.
And last – but by no means least! – dessert. Let us tempt you with our tasty puds. Who can resist a Cookie Dough Brownie with milk chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream, or Brown Bread Treacle Tart, toasted almonds and clotted cream?
Our new Sunday Menu includes many of these stunning new dishes, but still offers the fantastic range of traditional roast we know you love.
Don’t forget, we also have daily specials available to keep your tastebuds tantalised!
So what are you waiting for? Book your table today and come and experience everything our new menus have to offer this autumn.
