“Father’s Day”

Lovely meal for 10 of us on a manically busy day for you! Great friendly service as always. Lovely food (only criticism was that roasties a bit hard to get into – on the wrong side of crispy!) Children’s portions enormous but our gang had no problem with that! Would suggest maybe offering a choice of 2 or 3 courses for those of us who struggle a bit with 3. Epic raspberry soufflés – well done that chef on such a busy day! We need your recipe! Thank you 🙂

Had a brilliant evening at The Black Horse. Love staying in the beautiful chalets. Never want to leave. Food was amazing. Staff attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to return…..

This was our first visit to The Black Horse and it definitely won’t be the last.  We came for lunch on a Monday to celebrate a family birthday expecting it to be quiet but it was humming with birthdays, cards from Darren & his staff on every table!  Beautiful setting & excellent food – staff were lovely & friendly & Darren came to chat personally to each table which was a nice friendly touch.

We look forward to our next visit & wish you continued & deserved success.

We felt we had to write to say a huge thank you to you all for making Mothering Sunday such a memorable day.

From the lovely welcome as we stepped across the threshold to the care and courtesy extended by your waiters and waitresses, the first class lunch, and the thoughtful gift as we were leaving.  Also loved the table menu.

40th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

We had our celebration lunch with you last Saturday and everyone was very impressed with the food and the service we received. The staff were excellent and very attentive.

My wife and I very much appreciated the preparations made to ensure the event went without a hitch and our sincere thanks go to you and all your team for making our day special and memorable.

Many thanks for a wonderful evening to celebrate my eightieth birthday.

Had a excellent experience last night.  Out to dinner with my husband the service was second to none the food was beautiful and well presented, worth every penny. 10/10 all round.

“Fantastic Evening”

My friend’s and I had a fabulous Christmas meal last night at The Black Horse. The food was incredible and the service was friendly, efficient and excellent! We came a couple of years ago for Christmas but this year far exceeded our previous visit. Thank you to all who made our evening so good and the lovely man who took our photo!
