Bring in the Spring cheer with our stunning new seasonal menus!

As the new season blossoms, we’re excited to unveil our brand-new spring menus, crafted with the finest, freshest ingredients that celebrate the flavours of Spring. Our chefs have curated vibrant dishes featuring local, seasonal produce.

Lunch & Dinner Menu

Our new Lunch and Dinner Menu is bursting with sensational Spring flavours, like our Roasted Gambas & Chorizo with romesco sauce, radish and micro cress, and our Beef Tomato Tian with avocado, cherry tomato and Sakura cress salad, finished with extra virgin olive oil.  Why not add a side or two and turn them into a mouth-watering main course? Stunning on those sunny days.

Our Spring Menu also offers exciting new main dishes, such as Roast Plaice Fillet with jersey royals, roasted leeks, baby gem lettuce and a warm tartare sauce, and our new Rump of Lamb served with pea puree, spring onions, goat’s curd, wild garlic macaroni and light roasting jus is spring on a plate!

Don’t forget we also offer 10oz Steaks, Barnsley Lamb Chop, Pork Tomahawk and Beer-Brined Chicken Breast available ‘From The Grill’ and served with triple cooked chunky chips, home-smoked cherry tomatoes on the vine, rocket salad with ranch dressing and a choice of sauces or black garlic butter.

Sunday Lunch Menu

Our tasty new starters are also available on our Spring Sunday Lunch Menu. You can savour the spring-loaded Crushed Roasted Jersey Royals with edamame beans, chilli and mint puree and black onion seeds, which is gluten free, dairy free and suitable for vegans.  Or get that Mediterranean vibe with our Lamb Kofta served with romaine slaw, yogurt dressing and a spiced red pepper sauce.

Of course our new Sunday Lunch Menu still offers our popular Traditional Sunday Roasts – it just wouldn’t be Sunday without them!  Choose from Sirloin of Beef, Leg of Lamb, Loin of Pork and Chicken Supreme – all locally sourced from independent butchers – or our vegetarian Nut Roast (adaptable to vegan), all served with roast potatoes, roast parsnips, roasted glazed carrots, seasonal green vegetables, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pudding and roast gravy or vegan gravy.

But it’s not all roasts – alongside our popular Homemade Chargrilled Burger and the impressive ‘Black Horse’ Beer Battered Fish & Chips, we also offer our chef’s Fresh Fish of The Day, which changes each week depending on the catch!

Dessert Menu

Still got room for something sweet? We have a stunning selection of delectable desserts to tantalise the taste buds!  Try our Caramelised Banana Parfait with coconut granola, chocolate sauce and a vegan peanut ice cream, or our tasty Rhubarb & Custard Paris-Brest with almonds, rhubarb gel and rhubarb sorbet.

Fancy something more indulgent? Our Rich Chocolate Torte with fior-de-latte ice cream, mixed nut cluster and a boozy toffee sauce will certainly satisfy.

For those of you who like a good old-fashion pud, come and enjoy our Steamed Baked Apple Sponge Pudding with homemade vanilla custard and green apple sorbet – yum!
