We’re delighted to share the great news that The Black Horse at Ireland has been named a finalist in the Family Business of the Year category at the Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce SME Bedfordshire Business Awards 2026.
As a family owned and run establishment for 27 years , we’ve always strived to put care and passion at the heart of what we do. We’re proud to have built a reputation in the area for fresh, quality food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The Campbell family has worked in the restaurant industry for many decades and greatly appreciate and enjoy quality fresh food. Jim and Jean, along with their daughter-in-law Jessica run the office behind the scenes, whilst their sons Darren and Mark manage The Black Horse together. Family values are very important to us, and we are proud to support other family-run farms and businesses in the local area when sourcing our ingredients for our delicious dishes on our seasonal menus.
