New Summer Dishes
Introducing our new dishes, celebrating sunny summer flavours!
Here at The Black Horse, our chefs love to make the most of what each season has to offer. That’s why we’re introducing some exciting new dishes to our menu, full of the fresh flavours of summer.
Kick things off with a taste of the Mediterranean; our new Heritage Tomato & Buffalo Mozzarella starter, finished with a black olive tapenade is a celebration of stunning summer produce.
Fancy something a little different? Our stunning Sea Bream Ceviche with burnt peach, nasturtiums and ewes milk curd is bursting with fresh summer zest. Available as a starter or as a tasty lighter main.
For your main course, we recommend the Roast Loin Of Cod with fennel, red onion and orzo salad, black garlic aioli and fennel cress. It’s perfect on those warm sunny days, especially when paired with a chilled glass of Chardonnay La Vigneau.
And finally, let us tempt you with one of our three new delectable desserts. Our vibrant Peach & Custard Paris-Brest with almonds, peach gel and peach sorbet is just sunshine on a plate! Or maybe you prefer something a little more hearty? Try our new Stout Sticky Toffee Pudding with black treacle toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream – comforting and utterly delicious. Or why not treat yourself with our new indulgent Dark Chocolate Ganache with popcorn, salted caramel and fior-de-latte ice cream. It doesn’t get more decadent than that!
