On behalf of the ladies of the Inner Wheel Club of Sandy and myself I would like to thank you and your team for an excellent evening last night.All present declared it was one of the best group Christmas meals we have enjoyed in many a year. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and professionally served. We were all made to feel welcome and at ease in your delightful restaurant which was warm and charmingly decorated. Many commented on your choice of seasonal but tasteful decorations. Well done.

I am sure you see some of us back as individuals in the coming months.

We just returned from our lunch at the Black Horse and I have to say we had a most wonderful time. Great food, but also the staff were so fantastic with our little girl, suggesting food for her and being really thoughtful about little things that she might like. It struck a perfect balance between being welcoming and accommodating for children whilst at the same time being a really pleasant adult environment, so rare in this country.(Also, great changing facilities!)

All in all, a fabulous experience, we will certainly be back and also will tell our friends. Please do pass on our thanks to the staff, especially the waiting staff who worked today.

Just a big thankyou for all your help in making Williams party such a sucess! Everyone enjoyed it, the food was delicious and we had lots of good feedback on the Black Horse itself of course the weather was fantastic, and we could mingle on the outside patio which was lovely.Many guests did take a menu, but I guess there were some who didn’t, but it was nicely done.

I just wanted to send an email to say what an amazing evening I had at the Black Horse on Saturday, I had been there a few times before but quite a while ago, and I didn’t remember the place having such an impact previously.I am a PGA Golf Professional at a 5 start facility in Hertfordshire and I have been lucky enough to dine in some fantastic restaurants. But this was by far the best I have experienced.

The food, the service, the staff, the atmosphere and the setting is all first class, especially the gent who memorised all the specials!!! We were astonished at how difficult that must be!! Even down to the swiftness of response during the booking process.

The whole process could not have gone better and capped off a really special day for us!

We just wanted to let you know how delighted we were with the exceptional standard of service we received last Sunday on the occasion of our celebratory lunch for our silver wedding anniversary. From the time we arrived until the time we left everything was just excellent. Staff were attentive and friendly but not pushy, the food was to the same high standard we have come to expect when visiting your restaurant and the attention to detail shown throughout from setting out the tables to providing the souvenir menus was just brilliant. We had hoped for a trouble free and enjoyable day. You promised we would get this and we did. There honestly was not a single thing that we could criticise. Even the sun came out allowing us to maximise our use of the patio area. How did you manage that?!Without exception our guests have endorsed our thoughts on the day and I suspect that some of them will visit you themselves. Hope we will still be able to get a table when we want one!
